I never ordered Bellavani's "Advanced Anti-Aging Formula, " nor did I request the "free sample" of it that arrived in my mail. Now I've been charged $4.95 shipping & handling for the unsolicited sample and $98.37 for a "Membership" I don't want & for which I've received nothing as of this date. I did request a free sample of a product named "Flawless Effect" for which I was charged (and agreed to pay) the same $4.95 shipping & handling.instead of causing my wrinkles [few and small] to disappear within minutes as advertised, the product caused my skin to turn bright red. I had to wash it off within minutes to avoid further irritation. I was then charged $98.37 because I did not cancel within 15 days of my order. Now, recognizing that these products (and companies) are connected, I know how Bellavani got my charge account number & proceeded to charge me the same as for the Flawless Effect. I had no idea that I had been charged $98.37 for each product until my Mastercard statement arrived—but by then it was too late to meet their 30-day cancellation deadline. After researching their policy statements (which were buried in fine print that most customers would never notice when they ordered the free samples) I also discovered that the two $98.37 charges would be repeated monthly!!! At this point, since it's unclear how to contact either company in writing (or even find a street address—seems they have p.O. Boxes in many locations), and because the terms of their policy statements make it virtually impossible to obtain a remedy, my only choice has been to cancel that credit card account and ask the Mastercard people to seek a remedy on my behalf. I am joining the dozens of people who have lodged complaints about these unethical practices & unfair/unreasonable charges with their local Better Business Bureaus. And I'm warning anyone reading this about Bellavani & Flawless Effects' technically legal (but clearly unethical) business practices.
