Miscellaneous

In June of this year I was on a reliable website.
Then a popup appeared with the name of website I was on and offered to send 2 different products for $4.95 plus $15.00. The products were for teeth whitener and pure collagen for the face. At the bottom of the form, it did say: that this website is not part of website that I was on. I decided that for $19.95, I would get the samples.
It did not say that I was enrolling in a monthly charge of $98.95. The sample that I paid $19.95, then I was then charged in July $98.95 for the same sample. I did not inspect my July bank statement close enough.
In August, I was charged another $98.95. Purecollagen put in the charge, then took it out, and then put it back into my debit card account. This satisfied the bank’s 3 day waiting period so that I could not stop the charge. Purecollagen knew what it was doing.
When I finally called Purecollagen, the automatic answering system allowed me to cancel my subscription.
Then I called back 3 times and talked to a customer service representative to reverse their charges. Each time the customer service representative hung up on me.
I sent the package back without opening it. One of the customer service representatives later told me that I should have a Return Merchandize Authorization (RMA) number on the box. Because I did not have an RMA the box would not be credited back to my account.
