U.S. Safety Corp owes me over $1000 for work done last year. The first and biggest of 5 invoices was from 09/07, and this invoice is less than 1/2 way paid off. Susan Reef, who controls the finances, keeps making promises to put checks in the mail and the vast majority of the time does not do it, or even communicate about the fact that she failed to keep the promise. The last payments I have received have been for $40. And even these tiny payments seem to be a problem and she won't pay them once a month or regularly. There was never any dispute about the contract work I did for the company. I pointed out that at the rate she is paying that it would be years before the debt was handled and that this was unacceptable. She nevertheless comes up with excuses why she can't even send a $40 check, for months at a time. I consider the promises to pay and the breaking of the promises, plus the almost 11 month old bills with payments dragged out indefinitely to be an unethical business practice. Susan Reef is now threatening legal action because I posted something online about her non-payment of debt.
