Miscellaneous

I ordered the 30-day free trial anti-aging product advertised on their website June 6 (cost: S&H) and received an email a few minutes later confirming my order; received package (included a booklet but no invoice) a few days later.

This morning to my surprise, (a) I received my Visa statement and noticed that $189.00 had been charged by this company ($204.54 CDN) on June 22; and (b) received an email from that company informing me that I was to expect another delivery in the next 3 days.

I tried their number (866-977-1412) to refuse (I can't say "CANCEL" since I never signed up for anything else) but was informed by the operator that this number is not active. I contacted Visa and was told to send an email to the company to stop/cancel.

Since I was
(1) never informed of the cost of this free trial product (not even the S&H);
(2) that my Visa card would be debited not 30 days later but 20 days of! 89.00 USD;
(3) never received an invoice stating the cost of the product, shipping and handling; and stating that in order to cancel, the product had to be returned (empty or not) within 30 days; and
(4) that I have never signed up for a repeat/subscription/membership, I consider that at best I owe this company strictly for S&H (about $18.00) no more but they - on the other hand - owe me for the hours I have waisted trying to correct this abuse (fraud, misrepresention, theft, etc).

Please... Stop this fraudulent company!
