Home Advisors called me & told me that I will be billed for leads only when I accept them, but then they called me requesting money of $180 for 6 text messages that they send, none of them were accurate; just random info and they charged $30 for each. One of those leads called me & set an appt to talk about a job and 1 hr before appt they canceled & told me they will call to reschedule, it's been 2 months, no one called. I told Home Advisos about it, they wont listen, they just told me that I need to pay that amount, they are not responsible for crap they sent me. They told me they sent me emails but they never did and when i kept asking them to re-send me, over a month later they sent me test email. So how come that I didn't receive agreement from them then but now I receive email from them? THEY NEVER SENT THAT EMAIL. I didn't pay, I consulted collection agency and they told me to talk to attorney because this is scam. Now a guy calls me from collection agency representing Home Advisors, while I"m busy at work. Tells me I own them $240. Excuse me? I told them to cancel everything and they said the amount wont be increasing. LIARS! I got disconnected and he called back left me voicemail threatening me that if I hang up again there will be issues. Who talks like that to customers? The guy from collection agency doesn't let me put a word in, he keeps bubbling and yelling at me, so I hanged up again. If anyone knows how to take these spammers down, please let me know. As for now, I'm discussing this with my lawyer, who mentioned that just starting with the threatening message from the Home Advisors collection agency, that dude is in trouble. I record all my conversations with them because they LIE and LIE.
