Our sales manager received a fax stating "Additional Data Required." He thought it was our Yellow Pages advertiser confirming information. When we realized what was going on, we tried to cancel the order, but were told it was too late. We made an initial payment in December but it never cleared the bank. We then received a past due letter threatening legal action with them threatening to turn us over to a collection agency. We stopped payment on the first check and reissued a second check, sending it Certified with a return receipt. We received the check back one month later as unclaimed. Fortunately we aren't out any actual cash, just time!
