This is my story. I meet this lady on line. Where she is supposed to be selling her pair of Hyacinth Macaw very cheap.
After a few emails she said the bird will be free or for adpotion. I jus need to cover the delivery expense @ 520 USD. She said she is in Bangkok, Thailand. Firts thing today @ 8 AM somebody called and said that registration for the birds is made i just need to send the money via western union. I check the country code of the call and found it's in Camerron a country in Africa. I suspect it was a scam. The guy called again and i told him to call back after an hour. Have talked with the local Department of Environment and Natural Resources. There i was told that getting Hyacinth Macaw is not easy i have to secure first import permit and the likes. They told me to don't send any money. It's a scam... When the Camerron Guy called again that they are scammer's i ask the DENR and it's not that easy to get that bird. Please be aware that the guy is very persisitent that all you need to do is send the money and everything will be fine. To all please be aware and be vigilant... Always ask first. This guys will not stop if there are still people they can scam..
