Miscellaneous

This was a mailing addressed to me from D. Marcus director of EWC to advise me this was a second attempt to notify me of my winning. Saying it is undeniable I am the winner of $24,000.00! (I never got any notice). Assuring it is true, as proof they sent a copy of the check made out in my name. My name and address were drawn randomly by an impartial official which is why they say, there is not the slightest doubt I had been declared the winner of $24,000.00 without knowing it!"REALLY NOW"
They stated I could still claim the check but only had 10 days (postmark as proof). Now first they said as soon as they recieved the prize form filled out completely then they would IMMEDIATELY send the check!!! Then on the back it states all the returned PRIZE CLAIM COUPONS filled out completely and returned on time would be entered in a drawing on Dec. 31. So which is it? You won or you won a chance to be put in a drawing to win, then you have 2 weeks to claim the PRIZE in writing. (Oh my gosh what a mess this one is).
Thats when they advised me to read a letter they enclosed from a Professor Gerald W. Masters, about a "so called" sensational method for winning. They say this person has a PhD in physics and is also a numerologist known thoughout the world. And for a symbolic contribution of $50.00 I will have my file processed in priority so I can recieve my check within 14 days, thus ordering the "100% Winning Method" of Prof. Gerald W. Masters. And if I responded in 48hr. I will revieve an additional $100.00. Then if I sent an additional $10.00 they would send everything by rapid delivery. (What ever the heck that is).
To conclude: if I choose "NO" I'm not ordering the "100% Winning Method" for the $50.00, I would recieve my check not less than 12months from now. My question: what about the rapid delivery? Ha Ha And what about the immediately mailing of my check if they get the PRIZE CLAIM COUPON within the 10 days? Guess they keep on changing things right from the beginning. What ever!
The PRIZE CLAIM COUPON to be returned completed asked for 1) My date of birth 2) My place of birth 3) My favorite number 4) An important date in my life 5) Favorite day.-M, Tu, Wed, Th, Fri, Sat. Or, Sun.
So as you can see just really a big add for the professsor.
Always be careful. Giving your place of birth along with the actual date can put them right inside your credit profile and what they do after that is anything, you could find yourself owing for a vacation home in the Bahamas, a retreet, in Hawaii who knows! Hope this can help someone not make a mistake.
