This is my over twentieth time trying to contact your company, in the fall of last year i purchased a grill center with the social area, i purchase the pieces seperatly, while home depot continued to mark the pieces down because of the approaching winter, i must have went to 6 diffrent stores getting the pieces in cleveland, ohio, i finally was able to complete the center and fell in love, i decided i couldn't wait for the summer and had to grill in the cold, the tank was new and full, however i heard a hissing sound and became concerned, i called customer service yours and theirs and i was told it's just the sound of the propane... Wrong!!! I don't know what happened but something sparked and the whole side of my and the pieces surrounding caught fire, i had some dirt nearby and tossed it and was able to put it out but not before my grill was destroyed and i burned the lower part of my right hand, severly, i now have a perment scare and a metal bracket because apparently i broke it while trying to put out the fire, i have wrote you emiled you, called and have been doing so for nine months and have never received a response, home depot says their not liable, that they only sell the product, not a sorry, not a how are you, but that their not liable, i kept that grill in my garage for almost 8 months thinking someone would come out, but i do have pictures. I no longer have it because i moved to georgia and a burned ruind grill cost to much to add to shipping, all i ever asked was for my grill and center to be replaced and then when i call your people say they need my warranty, i didn't even get to register it, i had just finished getting the pieces together, i had set the paper work on the the box on the side but that was ruined also, i'm not writing to sue or start trouble, i simply asked your company to replace the unit, even a refurbished one would be fine as long as it works and is in code, i contacted the hpga/npga and use propane.com and cnn news media and they suggested i try writing a email again and if that had no respones, then they would be willing to do my story, i don't want that i just want some response to get this resolved, i'm a single mother and i was already recovering from being hit by a hit and run drunk driver when this happened... Thank you!!!
