Took posessions/clothing jewels, masonic paraphenalia to meet undertaker. Upon viewing body before masonic service notice body to my belief was backwards no jewelry on arms stuffed down side of casket? Not sure if it was a casket. Private ceremony few people there at parlor, we left within an hour as the services were all that was requested, we never saw nothing again until 11 am at the Washington Crossing National Cemetery where the casket was in a hearse, my loved one inside with head at foot of casket/box whatever it was in, stated he was deformed that's why body backwards, HE was in no way deformed. Died the 20th of June, Masonic Private ceremony with about 12 people, funeral private, I'm trying to find out why he was not with head to tombstone? Also what happened to his jewelry and Masonic belongings for his Ritual by the Masons? We had no viewing, I was charged 6,815.00 for what? I have itemized bill that says the bulk is about 3000.00 for services of funeral director? He was not there... He drove Hearse to Cemetery. I paid for a casket 1295.00 with double lid so feet would not be seen just upper body he was in an open full body thing, which showed he had no jewels no belt, no mason apron lets face it no nothing. Who do I deal with? I refuse to pay this Parlor until I see Pictures which I know the State of Pa. Requires at embalming? He says pay before burial? Never have I been treated so badly this is a 93 year old World War 11 Veteran who has been treated with no repsect or dignity after death. They say he was deformed SHOW ME. If that be the case should I not have had the choice of an open or closed casket at my discretion?
