I believe this arose because I signed up for a "free trial" with Spokeo. I cancelled that trial in less than 24 hours. I have now been billed for 4 consecutive months at $14.95 I have written to Spokeo about this after the first months bill but received no response.

The internet is laden with similar complaints against Spokeo/Privpro.
