This person - if s/he exists - listed a gorgeous apartment on backpage as a too-good-to-be-true sublet. I asked her several times for more information, including the exact address of the apartment, and whether the rent would be prorated.

I received several garbled email responses from her, none of which answered my questions. She sent me a rental agreement after three such exchanges. I didn't complete it, added my own caveats, and sent it back.

At 2 A.M., she replied that I had completed her agreement perfectly! Ha! And all she needed was my money. Of course, the address of the apartment was still never identified - supposedly because it was occupied and I couldn't view it until it was vacant and clean - huh?

I told her to get lost.

This might be a Nigerian scam, for all I know.
