Miscellaneous

I recived a voicemail from an automated voice that there was an important legal matter, a restraining order has been filed. I was told to call 313-334-3113 and reference an affidavit number.
When I called, I spoke to someone named Jason Kirby. He said that I owed 965.62 on a FCNB Eddie Bauer credit account. He said he had an order to issue a subpoena for me to appear in civil court to be sued for fraud against a debt owed. I know I paid off that account in buthe insisted the account was delinquent. I was given an option to settle the account and stop the subpoena from being issued to me at my place of business. It all sounded very official. After paying the settlement amount with my debit card, he gave me a stop action code and said I would receive a close out letter.
After thinking about it I called back and spoke with "robyn fields" to stop the payment, but it was too late. They never offered payment arrangements, and never provided an account number. They said they only way to dispute was to have proof the account was paid off and take it to court... I was so distracted since I was at work - how stupid!
My bank says they can't stop the transaction since I authorized it!
