I too figured out this was a scam after they rejected my application. The one thing I wanted to add that no one else has mentioned is they tried to push me into borrowing from CARE ONE CREDIT. I asked why would I do that when I already have a payment plan set up with the orthodontist. The application says you can use any dentist that will except payment directly from the Grant. From what I am reading, I guess that is not true either. I received an email from Paula and I spoke to Lola on the phone. Who does this to people? In these times? I didn't lose any money and feel terrible for those who did. I did send an email expressing my disgust to Paula Velasco for crushing my hopes. I hope this helps someone else.
I am also really curious what the CARE ONE CREDIT angle is in all this!?!
