Alibaba is a tradeboard for international trade. On can list for free and offer the products on an international marketplace. One day after enrolling we received an email from goldsupplier@member. Alibaba.com with the offer of a paid membership for USD 299 per year. So we did and only after a few days the account has been suspended due to “security reasons” and when we ask for an explanation we receive an automated reply from safetrading@alibaba-inc.com stating:

This email is regarding the appeal you have filed for your Alibaba.com account
reactivation.

Unfortunately we will not be able to reactivate your account due to security
reasons. This email confirms that your appeal was not successful and your account
will be kept closed.

Please be aware that this is a system generated email. Please do NOT reply to this
email directly.

We would like to know the specific reasons why the account is closed and if there is no reply whatsoever, please send us the money back.
