Miscellaneous

I was on the Craigslist website and when I was finished, a pop-up appeared offering a free gift for answering a few questions regarding my reason for being on Craig's List. The gift involved a choice of either the Dead Sea Beauty Kit or a sample of Lipozene (kit). I chose the creams and okayed the shipping charge of $3.95 on my Visa.
When I got my Visa bill there were four charges on it. $3.95 for the first shipment of the free gift and then $5.95 for the second auto refill shipment. THEN - $149.95 x2 for both the gift and the auto refill - a total of $299.95. I have emailed back and forth, returned the product within the time line specified by their customer satisfaction representative, emailed proof of delivery and they have now advised me that they will not do any type of refund back to me. They now have my $299.95, my shipping costs involving their delivery of the product and my return of the creams and four jars of product and I have nothing. Do not answer any pop-up asking if you want to complete a survey involving a free gift in conjunction with craigs list. Nothing is free, the disclaimer on the very bottom of the offer states "terms and conditions" and this is what they are relying on to not refund any money back. Contact your local consumer affairs department and put this company out of business. They are aggressive, charming and unethical.
