I was contacted by a representive of MPH wanting to purchase my oil / mineral right in wyoming. We could not settle on a price but he did come close and told me on friday that he would drive from Shreveport, La to my Home in Midlothian Texas on Friday 6/14. The agreement was to purchase both my portion and my brothers shares in the lease. I asked him what was going on on the land and he said they were just trying to get all parciels together. He called me several times that day (I told him my son was in town and we are playing golf. He showed up around 6 and I got home around 630 pm. He had a notary with him. (dont think this is SOP) I did sign the agreement but feel that they had insider information since the next day i recieved a division order telling me I had royalities coming. Today (monday 6/17 I recieved a check dated 6/5 for over $8000 for march / april royalities I feel that they did not deal fairly by withholding information that would have been critical to my decision making.
