Dear Scambook,

Unfortunately, I am another unsuspecting internet shopper who has been conned out of money by 'liftandglopro' After receiving the 'free trial bottle' of liftandglo I received an e-mail telling me that I was being billed for £86.70 and as I hadn't cancelled my account I would also be receiving a second bottle at the full price and would continue to do so every month until I cancelled. During use of the first bottle I developed skin sensitisation but as I was unaware that I would be receiving a bottle every month I made no contact with the company. On receiving confirmation of the despatch of the second bottle I telephoned the company right away to explain my situation. I was told under no circumstances could I get a refund on the second unopened bottle as I hadn't cancelled the 'free trial' within the free trial period of 14 days. I am astounded to think that this is legal considering that the product I have been sent is useless to me. When confronted on the phone the assistant told me the best she could do is 30% refund on second bottle - not good enough. When I informed her that I would be taking my case further and asked her for a legitimate business address, I was given part of the address in Florida then she hung-up on me. It Doesn't sound like a professional business outfit to me. Can you help me Scambook? I would also like to highlight to others through the use of your website DO NOT PURCHASE ANY GOODS FROM LIFTANDGLOPRO.
