I found the pair of shoes I wanted in the color and size combination at arentii.com (it was sold out elsewhere); in fact it was on sale so I counted myself lucky and placed the order immediately and paid with PayPal. I received an order confirmation email, followed shortly after with a "Preparation in progress" email. Everything seemed fine.

A month later I realized that I have not received the shoes yet (I was traveling a lot). When I tried to track my order through the links in the confirmation, the links were broken - I got the "404 Not Found" error messages. When I tried to go to the general www.arentii.com site it said some bullshit "we are busy updating the store for you and will be back shortly". This left me with no way of contacting them actively. I responded to the order confirmation email but without much hope. As expected, there was no response.

Then I tried searching on Google for the same pair of shoes, and lo and behold I found another site www.maliyacos.com that is a mirror site, even with the Arenti logo on top. Using this site, I sent a message asking about my order. I did receive an automated response confirming receipt of my message; but of course, there was no actual reply.

Pretty sure I got scammed, so I searched for Arentii scam, and here I am.

These guys probably will put up a new site every couple of weeks or so to keep moving. There should be a way to track the content and shut it down.
