Yesterday, my daughter entertained a salesperson from Palmco Energy. That salesperson convinced her, without my consent, to change my gas and electric supplier to Palmco. The residential account with PSE&G is in my name and my daughter has no authority over that account yet this Palmco Representative had her sign the agreement to authorize the change. When I arrived home I found the signed contract on my kitchen table. I immediately called the number provided and was informed that the office was closed. How can a company modify one's service contract without the person of record available to confirm the change? I find this practice unscrupulous. The company got in touch with me the next day and stated that my daughter said she was authorized to make the change which certainly isn't he case. I strongly advised them to cancel any changes in my energy suppliers and I hope this ends my story with Palmco Energy.
