Miscellaneous

I bought a Boston Terrier Puppy from Mark James who said he was in Colorado Springs (where I live) he said he was temporarily in Phoenix but could send the puppy as it was his mother's and she had died.

I agreed to pay $250.00 for the Puppy and he said I would get shipping confirmation and to follow the requirements.

When the requirement came it showed that he had deposited $70.00 shipping fee and the pup was set to be sent.

The next morning someone called me from Extra Funding Loan Company affiliated with VPI Pet Insurance saying that the pup's temporary insurance had expired on the 25th and I needed to pay $1250.00 for insurance before she could be shipped.
I did not have that kind of money to pay that amount, and when I called Reloadit.com to ask for the return of my funds because of not being able to get the puppy, the agent told me that this is a scam and I am out the $250.00.

I want to: get my money back and prosecute these guys for theft.

What can I do?
