Incident occurred on 11/11. I contacted this company to consign the sale of my deceased husband's pool table. This table was originally valued at $4,000 (I included the rosewood rack and all pool cues, including two rosewood framed photos of dogs gambling. I received a contract in writing stating that when the table was sold, I would receive no less than $1,000. I was told by Mr. Frank Zavala, the company owner, that it might take six months to sell and I said that would be OK. I contacted Mr. Zavala at 623-451-4864 which is the number at the top of the contract, only to find out that the table was sold but it could not be delivered to the new owner until August as the buyer was moving into his new home at that time. Mr. Zavala told me that he received a $500 deposit for the table and accessories and when he received payment in full, he would have his accountant send me the check for $1,000.

Needless to say, after more than a year of phone calls to Mr. Zavala and being strung along for all those months, I have not received any money. I contacted the Mesa police and they told me to take him to small claims court. That is hard for me to do because I am handicapped. I asked the police officer to contact Mr. Zavala to see if he could get him to pay me and he called him. According to Mr. Zavala, i gave him the pool table and all the accessories because i was moving. The officer told him I have a signed contract with his name on it. He claims it wasn't a contract but just a note he scribbled on paper to show he was taking the table. Not True!

I am 66 years old and in poor health, I owe two years of taxes on my home. If I could just get him to pay me as agreed, I wouldn't have to worry about losing my home. I know I did a foolish thing trusting a perfect stranger with this furniture.
