My self & a coworker purchased 3 time shares from them and basically have the same story as everyone else. We purchased thes as an investment, with the plans of renting them out, but did not find out until afterwards that you are not prmitted to rent them out. There is still not water park or gym, or wave pool with a seprate pool; with a kiki bar. Absolutely nothing that was told to us or shown on the slide presentation. No water park golf course etc. Totally a misreprestation. Is there anyone out there that can share some insight as to what can be done. I have already spent betweent the two of us 3,600. Oo with a company that stated they would be able to help us be relieved of the contract and guess what, they did not!!! We have discontinued paying the maintenance fee and now just the other day i received a letter from an attorneys office stating that i needed to pay the back maintenance fees or they would place a lein on the timeshare property and sell it, which actually sounds great so that i could be rid of it. The only problem is that it has been reported to the credit bureau that there is a lein against property i own which is worse for your credit. The back maintenance fees which has effected my credit and is now jeporidizing my clearance with my employment if i do not pay these back maintenance fees to clear my score. And can cost me to lose my job.
Does anyone have any information on a supposed law suite or anything that can help? I will on what i can we can do??? Please help
