This company used the Breast Cancer and Animal Rescue sites online to advertise Le Derme Luxe 14 Day trial (cosmetics)@ $4.95. But you need to read the fine print (online) which is easily missed stating if you don't cancel within the 14 days you are placed on their automatic customer list to receive the product on a monthly basis. If you're late in cancelling, they refuse to deal with you unless threatened with being reported to Arizona's Attorney General's office.
Their poorly trained or deliberately trained customer service phone reps are scripted to convince you to continue receiving the product. They all talk too fast so you miss half of what you are being told. This is especially difficult with seniors who have difficulty understanding terms and conditions.
Billing disputes require that your are adapt at obtaining the right information when cancelling, i.E., Name of rep, Cancellation Code which I was required to ask for, it was not offered. Reaching a supervisor for better assistance results in a scripted dialog of "... All of our supervisors are busy with other clients." All of this dialog between you and the rep occurs while the rep being trained places you on hold while she/he confers with the supervisor for the next response to the client. Requests to the be transferred to the billing department provides a standard answer of we (the rep) have no way of transferring calls. When asked for the corporate phone number; the rep doesn't have that information as well. Finally, if you're lucky and persistent, you may get transferred to the "Escalation Department". Kay answers that phone, recites her scripted version of "... Your account has been cancelled." If you insist to have your credit card information expunged from their records, Kay hangs up.
