I received a letter from Stonegate Financial Services informing me that I won 150,000 dollars from MEGA LOTTERY and it even gave me a claim number and a phone number to call for me to claim the so called win. The letter also included a check for 3990 dollars that looked somewhat real but cannot be cashed until I called the phone number in the letter. I smell a RAT because the letter stated that I had to pay taxes directly to a tax agent presumably before I am handed the so called win. I saw an identical posting by someone else dated 4/25. I have not called the phone number given in the letter. Does anyone know anything about this company? Is this indeed a scam as I suspect? Anyone?
