We saw a car in the classified area listed as Montana, we set up to use eBay VPP, very real looking paper work came across, with us wireing money to an eBay agent in New York to start the transaction. Shipping and delivery was set, then received email stating needed to send full amt before car was delivered. I used the Live Chat for questions because the contract clearly said that you had 3 days to inspect the car before sending 2nd half of money. Live Chat said he was a member, all was ok and the eBay policy had chged, then she had Billing send me an updated bill. I left that site and went just to eBay and was informed, none of this was real, not through eBay at all. Sent email to him stating I was going to stick to original contract and would pay him the rest after the car was delivered, or to send a refund. Not heard back from him since.
