I received a call notifying me that my grandson was involved in an accident in Brazil and he needs $4200.00 for attorney fees. He gave me instruction of what I need to do and never mentioned it to anyone.
I then followed their instructions but my wife was hessitate to do this because she think it is impossible for my grandson to be in Brazil. He attend college in Gainsville and his busy with his paramedic school internship. Anyway, I went to the bank and my wife followed the instructions and send the money. My wife forced me to call Eric and see if he is really in Brazil and that is when we realized we were being scam. My wife called the police and she immediately asked western Union to retrieve the money I sent earlier. I was just lucky that we did it within five minutes and we get hold of the money and I am just liable with the fee of sending it. I am thankful that my wife forced me to call my grandson. After I talked to the police, they suggested for me to go to this website and file the complaint. The guy called me after an hour and pretending that he works for United states embassy and want to know if I send him the money. I told him about that the police was aware of the scam and don't bother me again and stop scamming people because the police will caught them sooner or later.
