Miscellaneous

My boyfriend and I recently moved. I submitted an online change of address request with what I thought was the USPS, which I've done a handful of times with no problem. The website is misleading so that you think you're on the post office website. When I logged into my checking account the next day I noticed two charges for 19.98. I called Changemyaddress.com and explained my confusion and requested a refund. They agreed to refund one request but said that they could not return payment on the other. The United States Post Office does not authorize any company to perform address changes, and even though it is stated on their website in small print that they are not affliated, it is still unlawful from them to act as a third party for address change services. Thankfully I am employed by the finacial institution that I bank with and reported this right away as fraud. I've also contact the BBB, The United States Postal Inspector, and The Attorney Generals office. This is absolutely fraud regardless of how this company tries to explain themselves.
