Operating as a 501c3 WIRE seized 20 of my horses, took them to an undisclosed location and sollicted money and supplies while giving them less than standard treatment, little food, no shelter, no vet, no farrier, would not allow me on property. Pregnant mares were not given foaling stalls as promised. I found that their 501C3 had been revoked as of 2009 and IRS is now involved. Their state charity had also been revoked as of 2009 and was not reinstated until after the surrender date 03/13. It was renewed 3/31 and once again this year. I have been attempting to fight them through court in Island county for a breach of contract, but the judge is related to the defendant Hilkey, refused to recuse himself. I was scheduled for a jury trial for 4/9 and 2weeks before trial judge Hancock waived my right to a jury because he said I did not pay in a timely manner. I would like to put in a complaint for fraud, many forged documents, missing horses, minimum value at slaughter of $20,000 and untold dollars in donations.{grand larceny} They have cleared their web site but I have printed up much of the information and pictures. I have been physically threatened, and they have come on my property
at night. I have witnesses who have contacted me who are afraid of Travis Hilky and said he is the kind of person who will burn your barn down. He has a record for assault and served 6 months. Now they are threatening to come and take more horses, providing me with false documents which you should be able to verify. The judge on the case refused to recuse himself even though admitting they are cousins. Travis stole American Quarter Horse Records that were mypersonal property and when the sheriff came and took report, he has never signed it or turned it over to the PA. When AQHA contacted the sheriffs office in coupeville Wa they were told all the papers had been returned, patently not true. I am presently working with the FBI in California Polly Montan0 is the victim witness coordinator for a telemarketing charge against First American Law Center. I do not know if this case would qualify but I did contact WIRE because of a website
