How can these people get away with stealing bank info?

WITHOUT ANY PRIOR knowledge of this company, having never heard of them before, they send me an email and text message about charges of $99.95 annual fee and $29.95 monthly fee charged to my bank account for winning an online shopping spree of $2500.

First of all, if I won something why would I be charged for it? 2) how did they access my bank information and be able to access and make charges on my account telling me the date of the first charges and what amounts will be deducted from my personal bank account.

They had the audacity of using my last name to issue an log on number and password for the spree of which I did not go into the site or hit the access button.

Therefore, I cannot understand how this can happen. Someone please help me. Customer service will not pick up the phone. Recordings they are now closed contact them monday thru friday standard eastern time from 9 to 5 you are not able to leave a message at all the phone just dies. 888-276-9020 is the number on the email sent to me regarding the charges and how to cancel.

When you try to cancel you are told that until you have proof the charges were made and taken and paid you will not even get your refund. This is absurd. Its illegal and should not be allowed to happen in america.
