I applied and recieved a 400.00 loan from Ameriloan in July. I decided after they had deposited it, I did not want it. I attempted to give it back and ameriloan would not take it back, although now they are saying they would have taken it back, with no interest. I closed the account and contacted ameriloan to pay them back and the loan in a day was now 620.00. I contacted My Pay Day Relief, who attempted and continues to attempt to settle with them, to no avail.
My complaint is that Ameriloan calls my job incessantly, most days, twice a day. Now I am informed they no longer ask for me, but my executive director, which is over my supervisor. I have called ameriloan, attempted to settle myself, and have asked them to stop calling my work as it jeopardizes my job. Ameriloan continues to call my workplace. They now state I owe them 795.00, and will not deal with My Pay Day Relief because ameriloan's customer's have complained of My Pay Day Relief. I can't imagine anyone being a repeat customer of Ameriloan. I contacted my state's Attorney General's office to file a complaint, and they tell me, AmeriLoan is not licensed in Maine, and were told to stop conducting business in Maine.
