I received this letter, thinking it was official. They gave me almost no time to go through our companies proceedures to cut a check, So my CFO helped me push it though. Fortunately the person who would have needed to sign this document was not here yesterday. Today something bugged me, there was no phone number on the letter-that isnt right. So i looked up the company got the state website-but everything i mail there goes to Sacramento. So i typed in the address and saw this site stating it is a scam. Thanks to this site for being here so i was able to void our check and write a note in our system about it in the future.
