Received an offer for two tickets to "anywhere in USA" under logo of U.S. Airways (now believe this itself was a fraud).

Attended a required sales session in Houston.
Declined their vacation offers but received a "voucher" for two tickets. Had to pay a $100 "Acivation Fee" by cashiers check.

Received a form to apply for airline tickets.
Returned request to fly to San Francisco for two seniors.

Recieved the following:

$61.60 per person - U.S. Taxes, Passenger Facility Charges, 9/11 Security Fees, Segment Fees
$59.00 pr person - Processing Fee
$169.49 per person - Airline/Airport Surcharges based on current availability
$290.10 per person total taqxes and surcharges
-$50.00 per person activation fee
$240.10 per person roundtrip due

Further: " We cannot guarantee the taxes, fees and surcharges until after th tickets have beeb issues."

Then in red:

"All quotes are based on availability and subject to change. If we do not hear back from you within7 days of this email, you will only have the option of a $75.00 refund. To Accept the refund, please reply to this eamil with your current mailing address."

The people who made the presentation to us in Houston were from "Passport to Travel" located in Modesto, CA 95356

I replied with:

This started out as two "free" tickets. I agreed to pay any taxes on the airline
tickets, but a "surcharge" of $240 per person converts this offer to a scam. The total cost is now more than if I just booked directly.
