I think that was the date? Let me start—i cosighned a note for a dodge truck that my son wanted. It had a sticker on it that stated it got between 18 and 22 miles per gallon. My son drove it down to san antonio texas from the dealer and it died on him several times. A lotal of 6 times before he took it to the dealer there. They said there was nothing wrong with the diagnostics that it must have been the fuel. Well to make a long story short, that was the reason that the dealer in palestine texas told me also. The truck when i checked it got on the high side 9.2 miles per gallon, on the average 8.6. No where near what the tag said. I was told to wate till it was broke in. I kept it for six more months and all that time nowhere near even 116 miles per gallon. I called dodge and they told me the oil companys were to blaim for making cheep gas. Anyway i called everyone i knew, the consumer protection people, i dont remember the nu. The better buisness bue. Ect trying oh, i forgot the lemon law people, trying to get someone to explain to me how the government agencys could let a big company like dodge rip off the people. Well the front-end of the truck with less than ten thousand miles started to shake, not all the time but it seemed at inapropriate times, they told me there was nothing wrong with the stabilizer bar. Well i got a recall notice a week ago on it. Can someone explain to me how a billion dollar company can get tax bailout money of ours and have a permit to lie on quality and performance off a product, ripping the consumer off in turn i feel sorry for the chase bank which financed this ordeal. Maybe in the scope of everything im better off to be a person with bad credit because i refused to pay for an inferier product or should i say lemon or lie. At least im alive i didnt have to be someone whom died because they were driving a truck that the frontend viberated and lost stearing and the truck died at the wrong time. As for monetary damages—how much is credit worth? Can i buy some? I always pay off my depts early. A new car, that the company didnt lie on the facts, i paid off in less than a year with 13 cents down payment. Its a shame in our country that a company cant be held acountable. Oh yea i filled the truck up and detailed it took it to chase bank in tyler texas and expained to them that dodge had a lemon in that truck and i really from the bottom of my heart thank you for taking the time to read this. I guess my attempt of understanding what should i do? The only thing any off us can pray that, that truck wasnt one off those that killed someone-so the company did a recall.
