I purchased a pair of Coach Sophia shoes on 01/28. After wearing the shoes two times, I noticed that the gold leather was flaking and peeling in several places, making the shoes unwearable. I sent the shoes back to Coach asking for a refund or exchange. I received the shoes back with a letter saying that the shoes were worn, therefore were not returnable or exchangeable. I contacted customer service via e-mail and re-explained the situation. I received the same reply. I finally called customer service and was told that Coach did guarantee satisfaction, but since the shoes were worn, that the guarantee was void. What exactly are they guaranteeding? I certainly think that expensive leather shoes should last more than two wears.
