We are renting a computer and TV from Rent A Center. We always pay our weekly payments online. They changed our online payments to monthly. Our contract says we can pay weekly as we have been doing for over a year. They contacted my friends and family and told them we were late on our loan. This is illegal for them to tell anyone except my spouse about my debts. They harassed my Mom about my payment and called her several times and got her very upset. They need to change our payments back to weekly so I can make the payments. I am unemployed and my husband is on disability.
