I posted a kijiji ad to sell a gift card to chapters. I (stupidly) gave this person too much info - he said he needed to verify the card so I basically gave him all the info he would need to steal it, thinking I was just being honest and upfront - and he stole the entire balance of the card.

I lost $250 because of this and also my faith in people, already tenuous, is now in the garbage.

Please assist.
