I was referred to Vernon Day by a friend in 2010. When we met, Vernon assured me that he would be able to help me repair credit report. We agreed that I would pay him in 3 payments, so I gave him 3 postdated checks and he gave me a receipt. Sometime later I received a call from Vernon, while he was on vacation with this sister. He said that he would reduce his fee and tear up the checks I gave him if I would send him the money via Western Union today. I agreed and went to send the money ASAP. There has been much conversation and Vernon has made many empty promises and excuses as to why there has been no improvement to my credit. It is now 2013 and I am currently trying to move, however due to my credit I am required to pay 1 months’ rent (nonrefundable) in order for my application to be approved, which I do not have. I need my money back so I can have a place to live. My move date is April 14. As you can see this date is approaching quickly and due to the lack of service Vernon Day has provided me I may not have a place to live. Also I have all the papers that Vernon and I have exchanged in the past to prove that I held up my end of our agreement without any changes to my credit. If there is anything that anyone can do to assist me with getting my money back it would be greatly appreciated.
