Purchased Xbox live gold membership for 12 months and never receive code. They literally changed the meaning "instant" to never! I'd tried everthing from calling to e-mailed (2X) to support tickets (7X) and no response whatsoever. Now I have to go through the trouble of disputing the charges. Believe it, this is a real scam or not worth the trouble to say the less.
