I was convinced that if I paid a fee of $795 that I would also save $1500 by transferring my credit card balance to a 0% account. I realized that this was foolish after I did it. I waited for my new credit card statement and now the balance is higher and the minimum payment is higher. Doing the math, that should have occurred to me right away but this man was slick, called me his "financial advisor", made small talk, kept in touch, got me away from a company I had wanted to get away from. I called his number today and was told he left the company. He said he had been there for 8 years and now he leaves?
