I have found an advert for apt holiday rental in NYC through Airbnb (33 west 56th street new york, ny 10019).
Person whose nick was Ruth on the portal asked to process the booking directly with us (no extra fees for the portal).

Total Rent Quoted: $280 plus $200 refundable security deposit = $480
As per the agreement I had to pay the amount which is $240 to hold your dates (4 night) to Ashlyn Arias through Western Union which I did. Few days later renter asked me to change the name to:

He had explained that it's due to landlords accountant being unavailable to collect money due to the surgery that he has to undertake.

I have changed the name and asked for a conformation.instead of document confirming receipt of the payment I was asked to pay in full which I refused to. Then he asked me to pay extra $100 supposedly being cleaning fees. Also refused.
In one of the emails I have received copy of ID as a guarantee of money paid (name on the drivers license was Michael Cohen).

I have asked to cancel the booking which as per agreement terms would mean that they are deducting $100 (cancellation fees). Despite number of email being sent I heard nothing from that person.
