I have been looking for flights to manila philipinnes to visit my fiancée.
Came across cheapticket - deal.com and was impressed with there price for a return ticket from london heathrow.
I booked my ticket. Was given flight details etc.
Tried to pay via pay pal but was told there technical problems could I do bank transfer to andris benzin cheap ticket. Barclays bank london.
Done this and awaited my e-ticket. Not heard anything so tried on a numerous occassions too contact them by phone and email.
Contacted the airline. Gave my name. Nothing on there flight list.
So lost money. Feeling angry and foolish with myself.
Since then I have done some investigating and believe they were trading as cheapeticket and other names and Bp travel co. Which is now OP Travel. London.
I have reported this too actionfraud but no one has been in touch with me to date.
My faith in the Uk police is not good. This gang seem to have new sites all the time.
Surely the police can contact the bank and trace the accounts and follow where the cash finally lands up.
