Well ive being making quite alot of loan applications online so when i recieved a call saying id been approved gor a£1500 over 24months. I thought that was great. However, i became suspicious when tjey didnt go into what the APR % was. They asked me qustions in order to complete this application. Name, address, D.O. B, Monthly income. Pay fequency and dates. Then Bank details. Which they said my funds would b transferedvinto. Then they asked for the long no. On my card which iasked why do u need this m they said just to match ypur address with us which sum companys do but then they also wanted the 3 digit security code??!! This is when my ears pricked up n i said why do u need this you only need the 16 digit no. To match a card to a bank and address. So i was then passed to a supervisorThe supervisor was saying they needed it to match it.@ this point i knew it was a SCAM so i said well i cant give u it till i get permission from my huspand so can u give me a telephone no. For me to get back to you on. To which he said so you eant me to cancel this loan now n i said no, just keep it on hold till i speak with my hubby and then il ring u back. Then he said well the reason we need it is becs we charge a fee of between £40-60!! To which i replied well this hss never been mentioned to me n had i gave u my security no. U would. Have taken any amount out as you never said anything about any fees ect. To his reply was no just the £40-60 n i said your a very, sly, naughty man ypu n im goin to report u to the correct authorities. I have been recording this fonecall from the start... The fone then went dead!!! So whateva you do never give your 3 digit security code unless its being stated that there is a fee ect. Something needs doing about these ppl. And i plan to report them when i find out who i have to report them to. Michelle. Xx
