Got a call from a John Karakakas, saying I won $750,000. I was given a bunch of info (package #, security code, id #) and told that to claim the money I had to wire money to a neutral third party accountant, Paul Bashford. After wiring the money, I would meet the people for my winnings at my bank. I wired the money but did not tell them the MTCN #. Turns out in the States you do not need that number to pick up money from Western Union, just a photo ID. THe 'neutral' party picked up my money the next day. Now, they are calling me and at first saying I refunded the money, until I tell them that Paul took it. Then they tell me that he was arrested only a week ago and that they are sorry and will refund my money, etc etc. Now they want me to wire $100 so I can get my winnings and my $400 back. All phone calls came from a 876 area code. Here is the following numbers and names they used.

Report this to your local police, if there is enough reports they might actually try to stop these people.
