Search for "change driver's license address" brought up (no that I am aware) several scamming websites. One of the websites is texasdriverslicenses.org. The website has the same colors and theme as the Texas Department of Public Safety driver's license division.
The website claims to pre-fill forms and insinuates that the cost covers the change of address fee. After you fill in your information, including credit card information to process, the website directs you to the actual website, wherein you pay $11 (the actual cost)
My bank account reflects the $14.70 charge, and an additional $12.95 charge for unknown reasons, and then of course, the legitimate $11 charge.
My caution to all (and spread the word) make 0 percent sure it is the correct website, wich is NOT a. Gov or.com site. It is a. State. Tx.Us
