Miscellaneous

I received a "Mystery Shopper job" from Mystery Shoppers Agency. I needed to make some extra money and my cousin had a legit side job like this so I thought I would try it. Three weeks went by and I forgot about it until I got a cashier's check for $1860 and my assignment. I was to keep $200 for my fee and use my nearest Western Union to wire the rest of the money minus the cost to do so to another person. I had that niggling feeling in my gut but since I had a CASHIER'S CHECK - thought it HAD to be real. WRONG!!! I deposited $200 into my bank and cashed the rest out on Saturday. On Tuesday, I got a call from my bank that it was fraudulent and now I owe the bank $1860 plus other fees. That same day I got another cashier's check for $1860 with instruction to contact Craig Barnes at freddizine@gmail.com for my assignment. Needless to say, I haven't done anything with it. I have filed reports with the BBB, Attorney General, FTC and United Postal Service. But no doubt, this money is gone and I'll never get it back nor will they be charged with anything.
