MTI - Caveat Empto

My understanding is that the Caribean division of MTI was closed down in early 2011 because of a lot of other clients who experienced the same issues as you did. Poor customer service, highly expectations, technical issues watching the video version of the UTP on the internet and then if they wanted a refund, all they had to do was fly to Orlando, FL from anywhere in the world at their own expence of course, spend thousands of dollars more in travel lodging and lost wages. Of course the intent was to keep people from asking for a refund.

My experience with this operations is that they claim to have 19 years of experience, but they act like they only have 1 month of experience repeated for about 19 years. They are very amatuerish in their operations. Appear to be unprofessional and disorganized. And don't seem to care about anyone, only earning their commissions on sales.

The FREE Webinars that they tout are basically just a glorified sales pitch, much like time sharing that offer very little useful information and are heavy on selling memberships to MTI.

After they recieve your name, you will be inundated with phone calls and emails. If you don't sign up right away you will be invited to yet another webinar of another name but basically the same presentation and the same sales pitch.

You will be asked during the webinar to leave your name and number and even if you don't, they will call you on the phone number you left when you registered for the webinar. HINT: Don't leave a number when you register or use a fake one. I know that sounds dishonest, but look at who you are dealing with.

If you do sign up (God help you if you do) you will experience much of the same that the gentleman above mentioned. Service goes out the window, calls are slow if ever returned and help is basically useless.

MTI had offices in Miami, FL and the Caribean which were shut down.in the USA, their office in Orlando, Fl had a major restructoring with over half of their staff terminated and office space reduced also by about 50%.

I would strongly advise against doing business with this company. Another thing is that many people if not most of the people that I have spoken with who have used MTIs products and trianing have lost money. Also the educational specialists who you will be speaking with are basically sales people and know very little about trading. Even the analysts on demand which we are told so much about have limited knowledge, are presumably not licensed or certified. They basically have taken MTIs Ultimate Traders Package course and can "talk the talk" However, they don't walk the walk.
