I received a phone call from 206-792-9451 stating that I'm being given $7000.00 for paying my taxes on time and never being late on my bills. The person by the name of Greg Wilson referred himself as an employee at U. S bank. He knew all my personal information which made me believe that this was legit. There was a 300 processing fee to be paid upfront which will be reimbursed with the $7000.00. The following day, there was no money deposited into my account. I called him again and he stated that there was a hold on my money because the state I live in isn't a tax free state. I had to put up a %9.5 tax up front in order for 7,000 to be released from the state. So I wired 685.00 hoping to receive 7,000. There's still no money in my account. I called him back and requested to cancel to the transaction and get a refund for the money I put up front. He agreed and he stated that it will take up to 3 business days for me to get the 985 back into my account. There's still no money in my account. I called him back today and he said it was all done and I should see the money soon. There's still no money to be seen. I called back and there was a busy signal line. I called from my work phone and a lady picked up and I demanded to speak with Greg Wilson and she hung up. I called back with my work line and it gave me a busy signal. I repeated the process with my home line and my wife's cell. It all came to the same result. I want my 985.00 back and have these scum bags get their hands cut off so they may never dial numbers again.
