Ripoff telemarketing scam fraudulent billing

I had the same experience as other people who posted on this site. A salesperson contacted me to verify my address and said they were "renewing" my listing in their business directory. Knowing full well that we had never listed previously, I told him that I was not interested. The salesman was quite pushy and insisted that I inspect his directory. I told him that if he wanted to send me a complimentary copy to look at, I'd let him know if I was interested. He NEVER said anything about committing to pay $349.95.

So the next thing we know, I am getting phone calls from Alicia Brooks, a collection agent with this scam company. I am so glad that I found this website, which acknowledged my suspicions that this company is totally bogus.

I will be contacting the NY Attorney General, as well as the Federal Trade Commission. I don't know how this company is allowed to steal money from unsuspecting businesses. I work for a non-profit whose mission is to feed hungry children, care for the elderly, and help people in need who have nowhere else to turn. This infomatika company wants to STEAL $350 from us that could be used to help someone on the verge of homelessness! And they do this a month before Christmas?! Frankly, I don't know how they can sleep at night.
