My computer was crashing and locking up on both Internet Explorer and Firefox and it kept getting worst. I have Kaspersky Pure Antivirus and it identified the virus as uuwavou.com. So I searched for a solution and at the top of the list was the web site "uwavouremoval. 247Supportexpert.com" with a telephone #855-247-9517. I later learned this # connects through Skype. At one point they called back with 724-0641 as registered on my caller ID. After going to a few sites they took control of my computer, Without asking my permission, and said they completely removed the virus and would guarantee my three units for three years for $999.00. I told Kevin that there was NO WAY I could pay that amount. He then recalculated and offered it for $299. To which my answer was the same as before. I am 77 and on SS and cannot afford it so you can just put it back to the way it was and I would try something else. To which he said good bye and hung up. At the beginning of the call there was no mention of any charges. I also asked him who he worked for but I did not understand what he said. His English was with a strong Indian accent.
